Asha stood on the observation deck of the star cruiser Aurora’s Edge, her gaze locked on the swirling expanse of stars. The mission was simple—escort a group of diplomats to a distant planet for peace negotiations. But for Asha, the journey was an escape from the pain she had carried for too long.
